Overview

This project introduces the fundamentals: pre-sealer, pre-sealers, pre-sealing, thinset, grout, tesserae, adhesives. Students practice the direct method, indirect method, and mesh method, learning how tesserae are cut, placed, and grouted.

Surface Preparation Checklist

Clean: Remove dust, oils, and residues.
Repair: Patch cracks and voids; let cure.
Prime: Apply appropriate pre-sealer.
